The future of water

The European Commission has adopted a proposal for a directive revising the previous provisions on urban waste water treatment (UWWTD) that will contribute to achieving the goal of zero pollution (reduction of micropollutants and discharge concentrations) and zero consumption.

The topic addressed during the 11th in-depth conference held by SEAM engineering focused on the current state of European legislation and the changes proposed by the new European directive, giving practical examples and innovative technologies that aim to achieve the new targets set through optimisation of wastewater treatment.
