Purpose of the project

Coordination of safety during execution phase for the substantial modification of the biological and sludge disposal section of the Milan S. Rocco wastewater treatment plant in view of EXPO Milano 2015, with the aim of increasing the purification capacity: increase of approx. 200,000 p.e. for a total of 1,250,000 p.e. of capacity. Flow rate 12,000 m3/h dry weather, 40,000 m3/h rain.

Performed services

Coordination of safety during the execution of works (CSE).

Activities

Adaptation of the Safety and Coordination Plan (PSC);
Verification of the suitability of Operational Safety Plans (OSPs);
Operational management of the areas affected by the works;
Verification of the application of the provisions contained in the SGP and SOP;
On-site presence of at least 15 hours/week;
Communication to the client/site manager
Drafting of the work file.

Project Plus

Confined space activities: development of access procedures;
Coordination of activities with plant operators: service continuity;
Installation of a 70 m long construction crane on site;
Tank reclamation activities.
