Junior Process Engineer
About the job offer
The candidate must have a desire to join a young engineering group focusing also on innovative water treatment processes (AGS – MABR etc.). SEAM engineering invests a significant part of its resources in pilot experiments/research.
The candidate will be trained to become a designer over time.
RESPONSIBILITY
Work alongside our Senior process engineers to develop projects in the wastewater treatment industry
REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for design in the water treatment sector
- Aptitude for teamworking
- Knowledge of English is essential, a second language is considered a plus
ROLE
We are looking for a young person for the role of “Junior Process Engineer“, that will perform activities related to the design and calculation of plant systems in the field of wastewater treatment and in particular:
- Collaborate in the drafting of technical-economic feasibility studies for the implementation of new initiatives;
- Develop and process comprehensive material and energy balances using the most widely used process simulation models in chemical engineering;
- Actively participate in the study and design activities of new plants, systems, and process equipment during all phases of engineering development;
- Develop technical specifications and sizing suitable for targeting plant performance, in compliance with legal regulations, contractual constraints and company criteria (PFDs, material and energy balances, P&ID’s, equipment and instrument datasheets, C&E Diagrams, Descriptions and Operating Manuals; etc.).
- Consult and analyze engineering documentation produced by specialized technical disciplines and suppliers;
- Participate in site visits to the various locations involved in the activities in order to collect the plant documentation required to carry out the work.
- Support the final stages of plant preparation and start-up at the various sites affected by the activities.
